Welcome to Insane Productions – a production company born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and built on the belief that live entertainment should be bold, fresh, and unforgettable.

We specialise in creating world-class magic, comedy, and variety shows that people actually want to see. From smash-hit stage productions to custom entertainment experiences, everything we do is high-energy, modern, and packed with personality. Our shows don’t just entertain audiences - they connect with them.

And at the heart of it all is a trio of best friends who decided to take their passion for performance to the next level; and share it with all of you cool cats!

Our Story…

Insane Productions was founded in 2024 by Cameron Gibson, Elliot Bibby, and Luke Osey – three best mates with a shared vision: to push live entertainment out of the ordinary and into the insane.

It all started with our flagship show, Insane Magic, which launched at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023. Young, fresh, and jam-packed with hard-hitting magic, the show quickly made waves - selling out every single show, racking up 5-star reviews, and eventually, in 2025, becoming one of the best-selling magic shows at the world’s largest arts festival. It’s also snowballed into appearances at Adelaide Fringe Festival, Glastonbury Festival, and even cruise ships.

By 2025, Insane Magic has doubled in size year-on-year, with over 6,800 tickets sold at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025 alone. It’s now been dubbed a “global phenomenon” (World Magic Review) and is continuing to wow audiences everywhere.

But we didn’t stop there. Insane Productions has since expanded to produce four different shows:

  • Insane Magic – the flagship high-energy ensemble magic show

  • Insane Magic: After Dark – an adults-only twist on the original

  • Insanity – a circus, magic, and comedy spectacular (described by one review as “a family-friendly La Clique”)

  • Luke Osey: The Magic Hangover – a hilarious, magic-fuelled ride through a big night out

…and more are already in the works.

Meet the Team

  • Cameron Gibson

    Director & Performer | Technical & Production Design

    As well as being co-star of the flagship show “Insane Magic”, Cameron is responsible for the majority of the production design of Insane Productions’ show. From lights to sound, music to video content - most everything you see in an Insane show has been designed and produced from the ground up by Cameron.

    Outside of Insane Productions, Cameron has been based in North America where he was a creative lead and head magician on Illusionarium, Toronto - The world’s first immersive magic experience; and Magic Immersive, Chicago - A magic show in 360 degrees! Most recently, Cameron has been part of the resident cast of The Purple Rabbit - Strut’N’Fret’s magic and circus spectacular in Australia!

  • Elliot Bibby

    Director & Performer | Marketing & Backend

    As well as being co-star of the flagship show “Insane Magic”, Elliot brings a wealth of Fringe Festival experience to the team (12 years at the Edinburgh Fringe, and even a season at the Perth Fringe, Australia!). Elliot keeps our social content fresh & fun and also deals with much of the day-to-day of the company!

    Outside of Insane Productions, Elliot has been crowned the Scottish, and also British Close-up magician of the year, and has even been invited to perform 21 shows at the prestigious Magic Castle in Hollywood, LA. Elliot is one of the busiest magicians in the UK, spending most of his time entertaining at Weddings and also performing at large corporate events across the UK & Europe.

  • Luke Osey

    Director & Performer | Creative & Problem Solving

    As well as being co-star of the flagship show “Insane Magic”, Luke is often responsible for solving creative problems. have an idea for an illusion? Luke will be tasked with solving it. Need to source something weird or wonderful? Luke will know where to get it! Our team are specialists in taking an impossible idea and making it a reality.

    Outside of Insane Productions, Luke’s fast-paced thinking and unique approach to magic have landed him jobs writing for top magicians around the globe such as Dynamo and Joel M. Luke combines comedy, stunts, and magic to create a mix guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. He has most recently headlined in Strut’N’Fret’s “The Purple Rabbit” around Australia & New Zealand alongside Cameron!

Today, Insane Productions Ltd is run by its three directors, with a growing team of performers, producers, and creatives joining the team constantly. At the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, we brought together a team of nine to deliver our biggest year yet (over 11,000 tickets sold!) - and we’re only just getting started.

What sets us apart? We’re young, fresh, and collaborative. Each of us brings a unique skill set - from tech, lighting, and music, to act direction, branding, and marketing.
